VISION

To become the key driver of national nutrition towards the development of a healthy generation.

MISSION

To achieve a level of nutritional well-being of the population, Nutrition Division will:

  • Develop and implement effective nutritional programs to individuals, groups and society.
  • Integrate nutrition into national development policies and programs.
  • Improve inter-agency cooperation in the implementation of nutritional activities.
  • Encourage active societal participation.

OBJECTIVES

The objective of the Nutrition Division is to:

  • Assess and monitor the nutritional status of society.
  • Promote healthy nutritional practices in every area of society.
  • Prevent and control of nutritional problems associated with the shortage and excessive intake of nutrients.
